This is a fork of an existing project, DarkNova (DarkNova), which aims to be a reimplementation of the starcraft (one) engine in c++, using SDL and OpenGL.
Many people still play starcraft (one), a ten year-old game, but it's kind of a pain in the rump that you're limited to 200 units, you can only select 12 units at a time, the game runs in goddamn 640x480, the networking is a pain even over hamachi, the AI never shows any initiative, and after a certain point it stops expanding (many people don't play past patchset 1.10 specifically because that's when the AI really went downhill, but even the earlier AI wasn't megalomaniacal enough for many people).

it would be nice to modify some scarcraft file so we can have over 200 unit limit and a better AI put that into a easy to install file and you got a winner
